Sainik School, Korukonda instrumental in raising the initial corpus for setting up the University. He donated the 'Vizianagaram House' at Visakhapatnam to the Andhra University. Built in the early 1930s by PVG Raju's father Maharaja Alak Narayan. It is a 12,000 sq. ft. stone structure with high ceilings, arches and balconies. Once serving as the residence of the Maharaja of Vizianagaram, it now houses the administrative offices of the Andhra University. 99Sainik School, Korukonda
